This my mother the cannelloni recipe. I can never enough of it. The mother-in-law is always welcome to stay, but only if she cooks this recipe for me.
A tip but make sure that you are familiar with high-quality ingredients. The Italian cuisine is really a big difference to the result:
Ingredients
1 kg minced meat
Salt & pepper
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 egg
1 / 4 cup grated Pecorino Romano
1 / 4 cup of freshly chopped parsley
1 / 4 cup bread crumbs
1 cup cooked and chopped spinach
1 / 2 cup tomato puree in 1 and 1 / 2 cups chopped tomatoes - fresh or tinned - with lots of basil
Cooking Instructions
1) Fry the minced meat with a little oil. Since the meat to cook it into small pieces.
2) Transfer the beef to a large bowl. Salt and pepper and add crushed garlic. Make sure that all mix well. Add the eggs, cheese, parsley, bread crumbs.
3) Drain the water from the cooked spinach and chop it finely. Add the pinach and a 1 / 2 cup tomato sauce.
4) On some tomato sauce on the bottom of a baking pan. Cannelloni shells and stuff them into the pan. Spread more tomato sauce between each layer and on the top.
5) Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour. Then grill for 2 to 3 minutes brown top.
