taiwan contract law
Interviewing is hard work, certainly harder than not making the effort. I have a lot of good (and some large) interviewers and they share some common characteristics, as follows:

Inquisitive - Simply put, most good interviewers want to know what happened, have their suspicions, which can easily and are curious.

Observant - Successful interviews means thinking on his feet, bearing in mind the surroundings and the constant watch of an interview.

• Not a task for those who go through life half awake.

ENERGETIC - Nobody in the interviewer's efforts to ensure the confession, which is something that comes from inside.

• You have the desire or not.

ABILITY - A good interviewer can deal with people and they feel, while eliciting useful information.

• There is a fine line between pushy here as "John (or Jane) Wayne" and a complete BS artist.

Problem solver - interviewers have to look at the big picture to succeed in obtaining incriminating photographs of a suspect.

I once saw an investigator lose rape confession because he wanted the suspect initially admit to stealing the car, which he to commit the rape!

• The suspect was to be done, admitting rape, but did not want to admit the car to steal.

• The investigator doggedly continue questioning the suspects about the car until the interview ended without recording at all.

• When I was asked to proceed with the interview, I skipped the whole car, and the rape confession.

• We later discovered that the suspects were reluctant to admit to stealing the car because it belonged to one of his family members.

Lesson: What is most important to you, the interviewer is not necessarily the most important to the interviewee.

PATIENT police often damage the process of retrieving memories:

o hurry witnesses

o interrupting people when they speak

o use of inappropriate sequencing of questions

o Setting of the Declaration process too early.

The most frequently asked question I'm from students is this:

"" Can you learn to be an effective interviewer, or is an in-born ability? ""

Here is an analogy to help explain the answer. Think of the interview as playing the piano. Some children are born with a gift for piano playing. With careful practice, to master concert pianist. Others have very little natural ability, but also diligent in their training. After years of practice, they are to dominate and to play in "" practitioners "of the piano. The common denominator is: PRACTICE.

Without careful practice, not a (whatever the natural abilities) will always play the piano. Interviewing is like playing the piano in that there are some people who are natural communicators and some that are not so blessed. However, if each person practices, the two types becomes effective interviewer. A good interviewer should be basic human behavior, should be intelligent, friendly, patient and persistent.

Remember: Good officers are not necessarily a good interviewer.
