What I like about the knife:

1. The hard plastic friction sheath is a policeman on the trousers and belt mounted on the left. The pistol-grip style you can easily remove the knife from its scabbard in seconds flat, if you are in a squeeze.

2. In an emergency the last thing you need is a blunt knife. Ka-Bar uses high AUS 8A stainless steel that has a big advantage. My razor sharp knife came from the box and it can re-sharpened with a 15 degree angle.

3. Ka-Bar offers you many different options for handle colors and blade styles. You can use a brown, green, black, orange or with a handle or drop tanto, that is clear, half or fully serrated.

4. With a length of 3 and 11/16 "", the blade is allowed to take with you almost anywhere. It is big enough for a workhorse utility knife.

5. The jimping or thumb grooves on the back of the handle will help you pull the knife from the sheath it faster. They also help you accurately and fast cuts, if you have no time to lose.

I do not like:

I hope that Ka-Bar would be a much larger version for camping or clearing brush. I thoroughly enjoy the style of this knife.

Overall:

With retail values of $ 52 to $ 65, the Ka-Bar TDI Law Enforcement Knife is a great value for money. This knife was to meet the requirements of law enforcement tasks, so that I am confident that you will be good.
