Most people know about the importance of servicing your boiler to protect the health of the central heating system. One way to provide the user logs on to the schedule of regular maintenance is to use the service interval time checks as a reminder to make sure that they believe the recommended maintenance schedule.
In recent years, much focus was placed on upgrading old inefficient boilers, environmentally harmful and wasteful. New boilers have been a more efficient and less pollution output. However, little attention has been paid to the importance of conservation and maintenance of boilers throughout their lifetime.
It is important to make sure your domestic boiler, central heating and is in good condition through regular maintenance, the following advantages:
* Make sure that the boiler supply even at maximum output load times. Good care will ensure the system is efficiently and reliably throughout the year, and provides good performance even in the coldest winter days.
* Make sure that as a landlord or owner, you keep the law, you need to go to the boiler and central heating system in good operating condition.
Gas regulation 36 from the gas safety and installation kit 1994, the following requirements:
* It is the duty of the owner of the gas appliance to ensure that it remains in a safe condition, so the risk of damage to persons and to ensure that the device is intended for safety at intervals of not more than twelve months.
* Owners must ensure that all gas fittings within the property are in safe condition that prevents the risk of injury to someone with the property.
* Without a predisposition to the aforementioned points, a landlord must ensure that all gas appliances (including gas pipelines) within twelve months from the date of installation and at regular intervals of not more than twelve months (regardless of whether this review was under these Regulations or not).
Evidence from the market shows that it is difficult to enforce this regulation in the case of households. It is estimated that some 25 million households in Britain and many of them are either unaware of their legal obligation, or they are simply delaying the controls due to financial difficulties. There are talks of imposing penalties in case of accidents, damage or injury resulting from negligence on the side of the housing allowance.
There are automatic reminders that will help homeowners or tenants to keep to the regular maintenance schedule. Some use a flag up mechanism that raises the flag when it is time for the system. Other systems have a more drastic route and physically the system off when the liner was not done on time, a local engineer for a telephone number to emergency services.
Automatic scheduling mechanisms actually a brief respite on the liner, if one was not performed. However, it is imperative that the owners of the system or the tenant provides for a service technician as soon as possible before the system actually turns off.
Calls for maintenance seem to increase significantly as we move closer to the winter, and more households restart their central heating system after the summer break. Using an automated reminder would reduce the burden more evenly reducing planning difficulties and reduce costs.
